Pitt will play at Wake Forest on Saturday instead of against scheduled opponent Boston College, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Wednesday.
The postponement of the game between Pitt and Boston College is due to a positive COVID-19 test, subsequent quarantining and contact tracing within the Eagles program.
Pitt and Wake Forest originally were scheduled to play Feb. 7.
The Boston College postponement is the fifth of the season for Pitt, with only one game rescheduled so far. With the Wake Forest game moved, the Panthers (8-2, 4-1 ACC) have open dates between Feb. 4 and 9 that could allow for another game to be rescheduled.
Also Wednesday, the Colonial Athletic Association announced that Charleston's next four games have been postponed because of a positive COVID-19 test in the program.
Affected are games set for Saturday and Sunday at William Mary and next weekend at James Madison.
The conference said it will work to try to reschedule the games.
Charleston (5-8, 3-3) next is scheduled to host Towson on Feb. 6.
In the Big East, St. John's added a non-conference game against Utah Valley of the Western Athletic Conference on Saturday in Queens. The contest will be the first between the teams.
