With the draft now complete, who was your favorite pick and why?Chris Harris/Tulsa, OK
Nick:I think it always starts with the top with things like this because the first pick is the one who can make the biggest difference. So of course, my favorite pick was Tyler Booker. I just think the offensive line needed to be addressed again because of Zack Martin's retirement. I just like having guys up there you don't have to worry about and Booker fits the bill.
But after that, I'd probably say Shavon Revel Jr., the cornerback from ECU. And the reason for that is because the Cowboys truly stuck to the board and it didn't matter that he's not going to be at full strength right away. This was an example of a first-year head coach that knows he's got a little more time than others. If this was Mike McCarthy last year, knowing they had to win to keep his job, you might not be OK with getting a cornerback that isn't ready to help you right now.
But that's not the case. Revel is going to be a really good player. This team knows how to rehab ACL injuries better than anyone and if he comes along like he is expected to, Revel could be the steal of the draft, not just with the Cowboys but the rest of the league.
